Robin Lewis, O.D. Robin Lewis, OD, FCOVD
Managing partner of www.FamilyOptometry.net, Dr. Lewis received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1981. Dr. Lewis has traveled to Mexico for eye care missions. He has helped develop visual awareness training modules for City Police of the states of Oregon and New Mexico, and is a member of advisory boards for Mesa School District, Arizona.

Dr. Lewis was twice president of his local optometric society, former director of the Sun Valley Behavioral Vision Conference, and currently serves as adjunct professor for Pacific University College of Optometry.

He is a charter member of The Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and is a a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development since 1992.
Paul Berman, O.D. Paul Berman, O.D.
An International lecturer, Dr. Paul Berman consults for Head Start, pre-school facilities, and professional and Olympic athletic teams.

He is the Team Optometrist for the New Jersey Devils of the NHL and the Founder and Director of the Special Olympics Opening Eyes, a program serving the visual needs of people with intellectual disabilities - for which Dr. Karan R. Aggarwala was certified as Clinical Director in 2003 at the World Summer Games in Dublin, Ireland.

Among several other affiliations, Dr. Paul Berman is a member of Prevent Blindness American Eye Safety Committee since 2007 and a member of the Vision Council of America Vision Protection Committee since 2008.
Supriyo Ghose, MD, MS Supriyo Ghose, MD, MS

Dr. Supriyo Ghose studied at St. Xavier’s Calcutta till 1962 and completed his training at Medical College Calcutta in 1969 with Honours.

Dr. Ghose completed his MD in Ophthalmology in 1974 and independently an MS in Ophthalmology in 1975 from the finest teaching medical colleges in North India. He has over 190 ophthalmology-related peer-reviewed publications to his name and has been honoured numerous times by well-known institutions in India.

His specialty areas since 1993 are pediatric ophthalmology and ophthalmoplasty. Dr. Supriyo Ghose has a bright and cheerful bedside manner and is a superb moderator for scientific seminars-- inspiring optometrists and ophthalmologists alike in India and across the world-- with Shakespearean command of the English language.
Herbert Gould, MD FACS Herbert Gould, MD FACS

Dr. Herbert Gould is an ophthalmologist currently active as an Attending Surgeon at the Westchester County Medical Center.
A graduate of Bowdoin College and the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Herbert Gould was in residency at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, where, as a senior resident, he helped start the Contact Lens Clinic. He continued his medical studies at the Institute of Ophthalmology (London), Harvard Medical School, and the Downstate Medical Center, NY, and received a corneal fellowship at Moorfield Eye Hospital, London.

Dr. Gould served as Associate Clinical Professor at New York Medical College, and as Instructor at the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Besides America, Dr. Herbert Gould has presented at professional meetings in Athens, Prague, Stockholm, London, Vienna, Milan, Alexandria (Egypt), Shanghai, Algarve (Portugal) and Cannes, where he was also awarded a Bronze Medal from the Cannes Film Festival (Best Surgical Film: Corneal Transplant & Intra-Ocular Lens Implantation).
Dr. Herbert Gould has published over 80 articles and chapters in professional books and journals. His numerous professional memberships include: American College of Surgeons (Fellow), American Geriatric Society (Fellow), Oxford Congress (Fellow), International College of Surgeons (Fellow), NY Academy of Medicine (Fellow), Pan-American Association of Ophthalmologists, Ophthalmology Society of the United Kingdom, European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, the Society of Military Ophthalmologists, and the American Irish Ophthalmological Society (Founding Member). Dr. Gould was a Major in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a Flight Surgeon, for about four years.
Dr. Denis Pelli Dr. Denis Pelli
Advisor in Visual Neuroscience

Dr. Pelli studied applied math at Harvard (BA in Applied Math, magna cum laude) and vision at Cambridge (Physiology PhD), with Campbell and Robson. At Minneapolis (one-year postdoc with Legge), Syracuse (professor), and NASA Ames (sabbatical with Watson and Ahumada), he worked on visual requirements of reading and mobility, on visual testing (e.g. the Pelli-Robson Contrast Sensitivity Chart), and on characterizing the limits of visual perception. Since 1995 he has been Professor of Psychology and Neural Science at New York University, studying letter and object recognition. Fall, 2011, and again Fall, 2012, and is a Visiting Fellow Commoner at Trinity College, Cambridge University.

While serving as Editor (Associate Advisor) for Journal of Vision (2001–ongoing), and Editor for PLoS ONE (2008–ongoing), Dr. Pelli has agreed to serve as a consultant and advisor to Ben Vision Research starting October 1, 2018.
